Come here to Recommend books to other members! Include title, description, and if possible the author.
I recently read a book titled The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. It's about a young girl living with a foster family during the holocaust. It's REALLY good but pretty serious, and there is a bit of language in it. It was really good though. There's only a few parts that are somewhat boring.
A book I'm currently reading is called I Am The Messenger by the same author as the previous one. So far it's also REALLY good, but there's more language in this one than in Book Thief. It's about this taxi driver who stopps a bank robbery. Then he finds this Ace of Diamonds in his mailbox with 3 addresses written on it.

Three really good books are The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants series, by Ann Brashares. Crystalheart and I are currently reading them, she's on the first, and me on the second. it has a little language, and sad parts in the first one( )but, its about these four girls named Carmen, Lena, Tibby, and Bridget who get this pair of jeans from a discount store. they think it's magical, because they all have completely different sizes, and it looks beautiful on all of them. in the first one, they all split up;lena in greece, carmen in (i dont remember, sout or north)carolina, bridget in Baja, and tibby at home. they mail the pants around, and they have rules; 1.you must never wash the pants. 2.you must never double-cuff the pants.its tacky.there will never be a time when this is not tacky. 3.you must never say the word "phat" while wearing the pants. you must also never think "I am fat" while wearing the pants. 4.you must never let a boy take off the pants(although you may take them off in his presence). there are ten, but i dont feel like writing them all. well, anyway, these are awesome books!

ooooh! i read tons of books! this is my new favorite thread....
my favorite book in the world is A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks...it is about this die hard christian girl who is never without her bible and this dude who is a real bad boy. the boy is stuck in a school play with the girl. he ends up falling in love with her. and then he finds out that she has cancer and will die soon(wwaaa!!!!). this is one of the rare occasions that the movie is better than the book. and if you love tear jerkers, this is the perfect book and movie. i didn't cry, but my mom was bawling.

oh well, Whittington is a really good book. I haven't read all of it, but its about this cat, and he can talk. He meets this goose and he comes to live in this barn with other farm animals. then her meets these two kids named Amber and Ben (I think that's their names, I don't own the book, but I read it at th library), and Whittington tells stories and all. It's a really good book.

the gaurdians of gahoole series is AWESOME!!!!! its by kathryn lasky and its about owls, good and evil! its awesome. I've heard of it, and had it recommended to me ALOT! The people at Waldenbooks always say, "If you like warriors then you should check out The Gaurdians of Gahoole," I don't know much, but i do know it's about the same thing only with owls instead

I reccommend "The Nine Lives of Romeo Crumb". Its got nine books to the series, but only three of them are out. I'm still trying to figure out when the fourth one comes out. But its about this cat called Romeo Crumb who is a kittypet (that word is not used in the book) who meets a another kittypet named Queen Elizabeth who shows him the city. He is being tracked by an evil cat named Fidel who is trying to find him because Romeo's parents, who were alleys (or rogues in the warriors case), betrayed Fidel. That's all I'm going to tell I might ruin something, but you all need to read it.

and gaurdians of gahoole was an awesome series too. i only got to read the first 6 because that is all my library has,but the ones that i read were REALLY good. i read those before i started the warriors and one of my friends said,"well,if you like those books, you should read the warriors. it is the same thing, except with cats." and that is how i found the warriors series.
